A new sign commemorating the McKenzie High School Lady Rebels Basketball team’s first state championship win in March has been spotted alongside a highway leading into McKenzie.
The red sign featuring two McKenzie Rebels symbols, with a red bow, reads: “Home of the McKenzie High School Lady Rebels, 2022-Clas A Basketball State Champions.”
The Lady Rebels defeated the Wayne County Lady Wildcats 46-42 Saturday, March 12, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
