The annual Cardboard Boat Regatta is this Sat., May 14.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the races begin at 11 a.m.

The Cardboard Boat Regatta is back on for 2022. Start making your boats now for this exciting race on the South Lake at Discovery Park. Boats can only be made out of cardboard and duct tape – nothing more! This a great summer event for all participants and guests of the park to enjoy.
Looking for a fun team project for your STEM/STEAM clubs? This is a great way to sharpen skills in building and designing boats for the ultimate test in the waters.
Schedule:
8-10 a.m. – Registration and set up for competitors
10:15 a.m. – Captain’s meeting with the teams
11 a.m. – Cardboard Boat Regatta begins

Student groups may register for free. Registration is $25 for all other businesses, organizations and teams.
