South Fulton, Tenn.–The STEM classes at South Fulton High School are making emergency preparedness kits with flashlights, multi-tool, first aid kit, and other emergency supplies. Also included will be smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. The class will be involved in an emergency preparedness community outreach event in the future. Many different community leaders including firefighters, EMTs, police, and city council members have come to consult with the students and provide needed feedback. (Lauren Kendall photo).
