Paris, Tenn.–With the toss of a hush puppy from Hostess Princess Emma Brewer, the World’s Biggest Fish Fry Fish Tent was opened to a huge crowd Wednesday night. The parking lot at the Henry County Fairgrounds starting filling up early and the lines were long for the fish plates of catfish, white beans, hush puppies, slaw, and fries. Brewer departed a bit from tradition by tossing out two hush puppies–one to her father and another to long-time volunteer Mitch Evans.
