On Friday night, Land Between the Lakes had two tornadoes pass through. One crossed on the northern end from Hillman Ferry Campground to Demumbers Bay. The second tornado hit on the southern end of LBL going from Boswell Landing to Gatlin Point.
Crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to clear these roads and assess damages. Homeplace, Nature Station, and Brandon Spring were not hit by the tornados.

SAFETY ALERT. To All visitors travelling through Land Between the Lakes. Please exercise extreme caution. Downed power lines, hazard trees, snags, and other risks remain on roads and trails across the area. Please do not try and clear these roads to gain access. Many of these trees are under pressure due to twisting from the tornado and can be very dangerous. Our crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to clear roads.
