Paris, Tenn.–It seems new features are added to the Downtown Plaza’s Christmas decorations in downtown Paris all the time. The city of Paris logo has adorned the giant Christmas ornaments in the plaza, which now features the 12-foot lit Christmas tree, arches at both the front and back entrances, foot lights through the plaza and lighted trees in the background. The giant Christmas ornaments are popular with young and old and are a new spot for photo opportunities this season. Downtown Paris is ready for the Christmas Festival, which will be held Saturday, December 11, with trackless train rides, Movies in the Street, North Pole Climb, Santa in his house and the annual Electric Christmas Parade at 5 p.m. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
