
Union City, Tenn.–The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Obion County Sheriff’s Office are still seeking the public’s help in its investigation of the suspicious death of an Obion County man last week.
Sergeant First Class Robert C. Vallery retired from the United States Army earlier this year following a 30-year career of service to return to West Tennessee and fulfill a dream of working in the farm industry, according to the TBI.
On November 12th, Robert was found deceased inside his family’s home on Will Dickerson Road in Obion County. He leaves behind a wife, five children, and his beloved grandchildren.

At the request of 27th District Attorney General Tommy Thomas, TBI special agents have joined the Obion County Sheriff’s Office in the death investigation. Robert Vallery was last seen the morning of November 12 nd was found deceased later in the day in the Will Dickerson Rd area of Union City.
