Murfreesboro, Tenn.– LonNita McDonald, Henry County School System Finance Director, was awarded the Outstanding Business Official at the Tennessee Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) conference this week.
McDonald was recognized for being one of the top school business officials in the state of Tennessee and for serving as a mentor and role model for the members of TASBO. McDonald has been employed with the Henry County School System since 2007. She served as a Lakewood Teacher Assistant for two years before moving to the Federal Programs Department as a bookkeeper.
She has been the system’s finance director since 2015. The TASBO member thanked McDonald for her leadership and contribution to both her school system and their association.
