Camden, Tenn.–After being cancelled last year during the COVID pandemic, “Halloween On The Square” in downtown Camden received an overwhelming welcome back Monday night, with some 3,000 children and adults on hand for the sweet and spooky festivities.

Sponsored by the Camden Downtown Business Association, dozens of organizations, businesses and pubic entities set up tables and booths around the court square, handing out candy and other goodies to youngsters.

Organizers estimated that some 3,000 persons attended the event. Katelyn Arnold Spivey of the Camden Downtown Business Association thanked the community, along with the Camden Police and Fire Departments for blocking traffic and setting up detours so the event could be held safely.
