Paris, Tenn.–ATTENTION ALL GHOSTS, GHOULS, AND OTHER CREATURES OF THE NIGHT.
The Paris Police Department has announcing that that Trick or Treating will be held on Sunday October 31st. Many in the public have asked whether Trick or Treating will be held on Halloween Day since it falls on a Sunday this year.
Police Chief Ricky Watson said, “This is a Halloween tradition and we believe it should be celebrated as such. In the past we are aware that it has been moved to Saturday when Halloween falls on Sunday, but we have found that this only leads to confusion for all parties involved. So please, enjoy all of your fall festivals, parties, and trunk or treats all weekend long, but save the Trick or Treating for Halloween Sunday October 31st.”
