Murray, Ky.–Calloway County Schools is saddened to announce of the passing of Mr. Chris Rose after a month-long battle with COVID-19. Mr. Rose was a Certified Welding Inspector and Certified Welding Educator at the Murray/Calloway ATC.
According to the district’s announcement, he began his time with Calloway County Schools in 2010. “He was known as a kind man who always put his students first. He was well loved by his coworkers and students. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. Our hearts go out to his wife, son, and former and current students.”
They will have counselors available for students and staff when we return to school on Monday, October 11.
