Palmersville, Tenn.–Palmersville may be a tiny town, but it soon will be getting a Dollar General Store.
Dollar General Public Relations Manager Katie Ellison confirmed that a Dollar General is currently under construction on Palmersville Road. She said the store opening is slated for winter of 2021, but weather and other considerations would affect the opening date.
She said the store will employ 6-10 employees. Anyone interested in employment may apply online at www.dollargeneral.com/careers.
Palmersville is the home of former Tennessee Governor Ned McWherter.
