Paris, Tenn.–Members of the Paris-Henry County Bicentennial Committee looked over one of the signs that will be placed at entrances to the city of Paris and the county to recognize the 200th-year celebrations that will be ongoing through 2023.

Committee Chairman Carl Holder displayed a sign for members to see. Holder said the signs will be placed at high-traffic entrances.

At this week’s Committee meeting, Vice Chairman Jackie Jones updated everyone on the Community Choir performance that is being coordinated by Jeremy O’Neal for the November 7 kick-off event in downtown Paris. O’Neal plans to have rehearsals on October 25 and November 1. Persons interested in being in the choir should contact Jeremy by calling him at First Baptist Church or at joneal@fbcparis.org.
