Golden Pond, Ky.–Due to COVID-19 restrictions and U.S. Forestry Service agency guidelines on group events, the Wranglers Campground Rodeo has been cancelled for 2021. The Wranglers Rodeo is an annual event in the LBL.
The rodeo vendor, Loehr Productions, LLC, is looking to have a rodeo event at a local venue on the same weekend.
In a Facebook post, LBL officials said they will still be honoring half-price camping for July 16-17 at Wranglers Campground and will keep everyone updated on where they plan to host the rodeo. THey will issue a full refund on all reservation cancellations for that weekend.
