
The Basketball Coaches Association has announced that Henry County High School Point Guard Semaj King has been invited to play in the BCAT Boys All-Star game this year.
Assistant Coach Wes Malone said, “This is a huge honor and is for the top players in Tennessee. It’s an extreme honor. Semaj is the cog that made us go this year. He’s an unbelievable kid. He has great attitude, shows great effort. He played every minute of every game this year. He’s outstanding.”
King is the son of Crystal King. He is a Senior this year.
This year’s All-Star game will be a two-game series featuring teams from Memphis, West, Middle and East Tennessee. All games will be held March 27 at Blackman High School. They will play semi-final, championship and consolation games.
It will be open to college coaches to evaluate those players who remain unsigned.
