Obion County, Tenn.–The TBI has confirmed they are investigation the shooting deaths of two individuals at Reelfoot Lake in Obion County this morning.
TBI Public Information Officer Kelli McAlister told RadioNWTN, “At the request of 27th District Attorney General Tommy Thomas, TBI Special Agents are conducting a death investigation involving two individuals at Reelfoot Lake in Obion County. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.”
As of this afternoon, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, Obion County Sheriff’s Office and other first responders are still on the scene of a deadly shooting on Reelfoot Lake earlier today.
The Obion County Sheriff’s Office said earlier they are not ready to release information.
The shooting reportedly occurred before 11 a.m. in the Walnut Log area of Reelfoot Lake.
