Paris Firefighters Extinguish Attic Fire

Paris, Tenn.–Paris Firefighters quickly extinguished an attic fire Wednesday afternoon on N. College Street in Paris. Firefighters were called to 308 N. College and found a large amount of smoke coming from the attic.

The fire, smoke and water caused damage to the attic and living room, with $12,000 in property damage and $2,000 contents. Firefighters said it was caused by an electrical short.

Someone was home at the time of the fire but was uninjured. The home is owned by Linda Williams.
