Union City, Tenn.–Two men were arrested when a cache of guns and ammunition was found during search of their house by Obion County Sheriff’s deputies and officers with the Tennessee State Probation Office and Federal Probation Office.
The search was conducted Wednesday at a residence on Jack Douglas Rd.
During the search Investigators recovered 16 firearms including 6 shotguns, 3 rifles, 6 handguns, and 1 black powder rifle. Also located were multiple boxes of ammunition. As a result, residents Billy W. Blasingim, 42, and Michael Loyd Ward, 44, were arrested and charged with Felony Possession of a Weapon. Blasingim and Ward are currently being held at the Obion County Jail awaiting their arraignment in Obion County General Sessions Court on Friday, October 9th at 1pm.
