Arts ‘Round The Square, Mingle Amongst The Murals Events Set Saturday For Downtown Paris

Paris, Tenn.–Do you have cabin fever? Downtown Paris will be the place to be this weekend as two back-to-back events are sure to entertain.

The annual Arts ‘Round The Square will be held on the court square from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, September 26, followed by a new event, “Mingle Amongst The Murals” in the west alley downtown from 4-8 p.m.

As always, Arts ‘Round The Square is sponsored by the Paris-Henry County Arts Council. The one-day festival is a yearly event featuring art vendors and their wares, including pottery, paintings, mixed media, woodworking, and much more. This year, some 50 vendors will be on hand.

There will also be a kid-friendly events throughout the day.

Hungry? No worry. Food vendors will be on site with a variety of items for sale.

The event will follow CDC COVID-19 guidelines and guests are encouraged to wear a face mask, observe social distancing, and use hand sanitizer.

In case of rain, the event will be canceled.

After you stroll around Arts ‘Round the square you can “Mingle Amongst the Murals” in the west alley (behind Market Street and running between East Wood Street and West Washington Street).

The event is brought to you by the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center. It will be an evening of food, drinks, and the music of the Paris Big Band.

The event is sponsored by and featuring Cash’s Wood Fired Pizza, the event also includes contributions by PerryLodgic Brewing Company, Hand Held Food Truck, and the Loft Wine and Spirits.

The cover charge of $20 includes three beverages of choice, with additional beverages available. It all supports the extensive programs of historic preservation by the Heritage Center.
