Three Arrested On Charges In Separate Incidents

Paris, Tenn.–Three men were arrested on numerous drug and other charges by the Metro Crime Unit, Paris Police, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, and 23rd District Drug Task Force in separate incidents Tuesday.

According to Investigator Jeremye Whitaker,  a search warrant was executed at the Quality Inn, Room #155 in Paris. The room was rented in the name of Michael Burra. When officers arrived, they made contact with Michael Burra and Brandon Fisher. Fisher was recognized and arrested for active warrants including violation of probation, robbery, and domestic assault.

Officers then detained Burra. Burra told officers that he had a loaded .380 in his pocket that was probably stolen. The handgun was recovered from his pants pocket and cleared. Burra also had a felony amount of heroin in his pocket.

During a search of his hotel room officers located a 12 gauge shotgun, multiple syringes, digital scales, and a large amount of cash. Burra did claim ownership of all the items. Burra was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule I drug with intent to sell / deliver, drug paraphernalia, possession of a weapon by a felon, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous felony. Over $2,000 cash was seized as possible drug proceeds.

 

Also on Tuesday, a search warrant was executed at 628 Mark I Drive in Henry.   During the search warrant, officers located a felony amount of methamphetamine (Ice), bagged for resale, digital scales, baggies, and a large amount of cash. The suspect, Raymond Western was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule II drug and drug paraphernalia. $1,457 cash was also seized as drug proceeds.
