Paris, Tenn.–Power has been restored to over 1,000 homes in the Atkins-Porter Neighborhood after a huge tulip poplar limb broke onto a power pole near the Ogburn-Walnut Street intersection during a heavy rainstorm Saturday afternoon. The Paris Board of Public Utilities crews were on scene to restore power and Paris Police assisted in directing traffic.
