Case Of Camden Woman Accused Of Killing Grandparents Bound Over To Grand Jury

Camden, Tenn.–The double homicide case against a Camden woman has been bound over to the Benton County Grand Jury.

Katelyn Taylor, age 29, was arrested in March for the double murder of her grandparents Eugene McDaniel, age 83, and Celeste McDaniel, age 77.

Taylor appeared today in Benton County General Sessions Court for her first hearing since the arrest due to hearings being postponed due to the COVID-19 situation.

Taylor has been appointed a public defender to represent her.

She was arrested following a joint investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Camden Police Department.

She is being held in the Benton Co. Jail on $500,000 bond.
