Camden, Tenn.–Carhartt factories –including the one in Camden–have successfully completed the first order of 50,000 gowns. The Camden factory and three Kentucky factories (in Irvine, Madisonville and Edmonton) were retooled to produce the gowns for healthcare workers. According to Carhartt officials, “These gowns will be delivered to all of those who continue to fight on the front line. We are honored to help and will continue to do everything we can to contribute. This kind of fight is in our heritage, having produced for the front line during two World Wars.” (Carhartt photo).
