BPU Serving Public, Keeping Themselves Safe

Paris, Tenn.–How are our public service workers protecting themselves during the COVID-19 pandemic?

For the Paris Board of Public Utilities, it’s a balancing act as they continue serving the public while keeping themselves safe.

BPU General Manager Terry Wimberley said, “During this crisis we have two priorities: keeping our employees safe and continuing to provide essential services to the residents of Paris and Henry Co. Our focus  these last few weeks has been on finding the right balance between both of those priorities. We have made modifications to work practices and schedules to keep our employees safe but our commitment to providing reliable utilities to this community has not wavered.”
