Brooke Coffey Hired As Community Relations Director For OC Joint Economic Development

Union City, Tenn.–Brooke Coffey has been hired as Community Relations Director at the Obion County Joint Economic Development Corporation.
Coffey is a recent graduate of Murray State University. Coffey graduated from MSU in December 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. While at MSU, she held multiple leadership roles within her organizations, gaining communication and event planning skills, while volunteering at a local food bank.
As Community Relations Director, Coffey will be responsible for developing and
maintaining meaningful relationships with current and future Chamber of Commerce members by creating and overseeing member benefits, programming, events, etc. Other community and
economic development efforts will include retail recruitment and tourism strategies.
Coffey said, “I am extremely blessed to have the opportunity to serve Obion County,TN as the Community Relations Director for the OC JEDC. In this role, my goal is to be a continuous positive and enthusiastic representative of our community and to give back every chance I get. I look forward to building relationships with our residents and business owners, as well as promoting Obion County to visitors and potential residents. I truly believe that Obion County is such a great place because of the deep sense of community our residents create, and I am honored to be a part of that.”
