Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Office on Aging is planning a trip to the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute in Birmingham, Alabama, on Friday, February 28. The trip is planned for Black History Month.
Center Director Reggie Caldwell said the group will be leaving from the Central Community Center in Paris at 6 a.m. and will stop along the way for breakfast and will stop at various spots on the way home. Cost of the trip is $65. This includes bus fare and admission to the Institute.
He reminded anyone going they have to bring their own spending money.
