Union City, Tenn.–Members of Union City Schools’ Tornado RISE program provided a helping hand while getting in the Christmas spirit recently.
Cristina King’s Comprehensive Development Class class at UC Middle School and Regina Turner’s Tornado RISE students at UCHS combined to decorate the little schoolhouse at Discovery Park of America on a recent field trip.
King’s class provided the handmade primitive ornaments for the Christmas tree, while Mrs. Turner’s class was responsible for the handmade primitive garland and tree topper.
The group of UC students then enjoyed Christmas cookies provided by Discovery Park and a Christmas story.
They finished the field trip exploring the rest of Discovery Park.
