Greenfield, Tenn.—Greenfield Fire Officials are not yet releasing the name of the 21-year-old victim of a house fire Saturday night in Greenfield. Fire Chief Bob Dudley said more information will be released Monday.
One person and a service dog were reported killed in the fire, which occurred around 5 p.m. at a home on South Meridian Street. The fire reportedly began in the bedroom and fire officials believe it was an accident.
The Greenfield department received mutual aid from the Sharon Fire Department and other assistance from the Greenfield Police, Weakley Co. Sheriff’s Office, Weakley Co. EMS, THP and the TBI.
