Camden, Tenn.–A decades-old business in Camden was destroyed by fire Thursday.
Busby’s Tire Alignment Services at 1180 Hwy. 70E was reduced to rubble by the fire. Camden Firefighters were dispatched around 10:40 a.m. and received aid from multiple emergency agencies, including the Eva and Chalk Level Volunteer Fire Departments, Benton Co. Rescue Squad, Camden Police and Benton Co. Sheriff’s deputies.
That section of Hwy. 70E was shut down for about three hours as firefighters contained the blaze. Firefighters remained on the scene through the afternoon.
No major injuries were reported as all employees reportedly got out safely.
Fire personnel were unavailable for comment on a possible cause of the fire.
