Over 200 Attend HC Football Steak Dinner

By Kim Patterson
Paris, Tenn.–Joe Dubin from WSMV sports in Nashville was the guest speaker at the 2019 Henry County Patriots Quarterback Club Steak Dinner. Over 200 athletes and football boosters were in attendance at the dinner, held at the county fairgrounds. Among those in attendance was Jim Cullivan, the first head football coach for Henry County High School.
Dubin was very complimentary of Henry County players and fans and said Henry County football is lucky to have such a supportive fan base and booster club. Dubin said he follows Henry County football closely and urged each member of the team to push themselves that extra step to leave nothing on the field in the playoff games. He quoted a speech from Winston Churchill that emphasized never giving up.
Coach James Counce urged players to make those who came before them proud of their performance in the upcoming playoff game Friday night.
