Henry, Tenn.–Yes, firemen really do rescue cats stuck in trees. Members of the Henry Volunteer Fire Department had to get out their longest ladder to rescue a cat that had been stuck in a tree since Saturday. The call came from Bethlehem Baptist Church at 4125 Macedonia Rd. Firefighters Dustin Odom and JD Dickson responded and used one of the fire department’s long ladders to get to the cat which was high in the branches. “We’re happy to report the cat is safe and back with its owner”, Odom said.
