Discovery Park To Observe Veterans' Day

Union City, Tenn.–Discovery Park of America will be observing Veterans’ Day on Sunday, Nov. 10. All veterans and their dependents receive free admission to Discovery Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be a new artifact located in the military gallery that was built by Herman P. Shutt and donated by T. Joe Walker, who were both members of the 163rd Combat Engineers. It is a model of a WWII-era fixed timber trestle bridge, which is one of the many types of bridges that would have been constructed by members of the U.S. Army Combat Engineers during World War II. This model will be on display indefinitely.
Discovery Park of America thanks all veterans who have served our country.
