Henry County Republican Caucus Set Thursday

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County GOP will be holding a Delegate Convention/Caucus for the 24th District District Chancellor position at 6 p.m. Thursday, October 17, at the Paris Civic Center. The purpose of this convention/caucus will be to select the delegates from Henry County who will be attending the Chancellor caucus later.
Attendees are asked to come 30 minutes early to check in. The Paris Civic Center is on Volunteer Drive.
Based on past election totals, Henry County is eligible for 95 delegates.
According to Henry County GOP Chairman Tess Robbins, delegates must be bona fide Republicans with ID.
Two candidates for the Chancellor’s position so far are Paris Attorney Vicky Hoover and Assistant District Attorney for the 24th District Vance Dennis of Savannah.
Individuals that promise to attend the District Convention on Saturday, November 23rd but can not attend the Henry County GOP Convention on October 17, are asked to email your name, address, phone number and your promise to attend the November 23rd District Convention by midnight October 16th  to: hcgopcaucus@gmail.com.
A time and location for the District Convention coming up on Saturday, November 23 has not been determined.
