Mayfield, Ky.–An inmate who escaped from the Graves County Jail on October 5 has been caprued by sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Marshals Tuesday night in Mayfield.
Darius Harrison, age 26, was apprehended by Graves and McCracken Sheriffs deputies and the U.S. Marshals at about 6:45 p.m. at a residence near the intersection of N. 13th and Valley Drive in Mayfield.
Harrison left the jail on foot around 7 a.m. October 5. Harrison was working inside the jail and found access to an open door and exited the jail on foot, according to Jailer George Workman.
Sheriff Jon Hayden said more information will be released later.
