DUI Arrest Follows Injury Accident

Dukedom, Tenn.–A Dukedom man was charged with DUI after the motorcycle he was driving ran off the roadway and collided with an earth embankment after he swerved to avoid a deer.
Randall Earl Langston, age 63, was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center by the Mayfield/Graves Co. EMS where he was admitted with non-life threatening injuries.
Langston was charged with DUI 2nd offense with an aggravating circumstance, operating on a DUI suspended license 1st offense with an aggravating circumstance and failure to maintain required insurance.
On Sunday, October 13, 2019 at approximately 9:40 p.m, deputies from the Graves County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle injury collision on KY 129, about two miles west of Dukedom.
The investigation determined that Langston had been traveling eastbound on KY 129 when he swerved to avoid striking a deer. Langston, who was operating a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle, went across the westbound lane, ran off the west side of the roadway and impacted with an earth embankment.
