Paris, Tenn.–Henry Co. Sheriff Monte Belew, left, waits on a family at today’s fundraiser for fallen Metro Nashville PD Officer John Anderson at the Henry County Fairgrounds. The fundraiser will be held until 2 p.m. in the pavilion at the fairgrounds. It is sponsored by the sheriff’s office and Tosh Farms and all proceeds will go to Officer Anderson’s 18-month-old child. Deputies and Paris city police were on hand providing pork tenderloin and chicken sandwiches along with chips and drinks for $8. And, while they last, the sheriff’s office also was giving away free tomatoes from the inmates’ gardens and free pizza slices that were donated. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
