Martin, Tenn.–The Martin Fire\Rescue Department celebrated the official grand opening of the Martin Fire Station #3 at 126 University Plaza, complete with a large group of public officials, family and friends and the station’s Dalmatian mascot Max (and someone brought along another Dalmation to visit, too).
The station is located in a former bank building that has been newly remodeled and outfitted as a state of the art fire station in the University Plaza area. This new station will help decrease response times to citizens in need all across Martin.
The grand opening was held Sunday and included a ceremonial flag-raising, speeches and a cake reception.
