Paris, Tenn.- What’s your favorite Oreo? Did you even know there were that many flavors? Teens got the chance to taste test a full array of Oreos Wednesday at the W.G. Rhea Library.
The first full week of activities for Summer Reading at the library included an event for teens in which 12 different Oreos flavors were tasted by a dozen teens who took part in the event: chocolate peanut butter pie, Golden Oreo, dark chocolate, birthday cake, carrot cake, double stuft, s’mores, peanut butter, Red Velvet, Mint, lemon, and chocolate wafer with chocolate filling.
The kids guessed the flavors, with those getting 10 of the 12 winning a prize from the prize wheel in the library. They also voted via emojis on their favorite flavors. The top three favorite flavors were Mint, Peanut Butter, and lemon.
Kayla Nation, Children and Young Adult Librarian, said 200 kids have signed up for the Summer Reading Program since the first day of registration and registration continues through later in June.
