City Of Paris In Running For $25,000 Grant For Atkins-Porter Dog Park Improvements

Paris, Tenn.–Paris City officials announced Wednesday the city is in the running for a 2019 Dog Park Dash grant, which would mean a $25,000 grant for improvements to the city’s dog park at the Atkins-Porter Recreation Center. The grants are funded by the Randy Boyd Foundation’s Dog Park Dash program for communities all across Tennessee.
City officials said, “We are one of over 30 communities applying for this grant and we want the organizers to know just how bad we want this grant for our Dog Park.”
City officials are asking everyone to flood social media with #dogparkdash#ParisTn in a post. Be sure to mention our community (Paris, TN) in your caption or description. The dogparkdash organization will keep track of any posts that include the hashtag and location in our favor. The hashtag must be used.

Another way you can support the efforts, everyone write a letter of support. You may submit support letters through an online form. To submit your support letter quick and easy go to: dogparkdash.com/support. If you submit a support letter through the form, it will be immediately added to our application.
All of these activities must be completed by June 30th at 5pm CST. All materials must be submitted prior to this deadline to be considered.
