Free Handgun Safety Class Offered At Henry County Sheriff's Office

Paris, Tenn.—The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is offering a free handgun safety and fundamentals class at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at the sheriff’s office.
Class size is limited, so anyone interested should call 731 642 1672 to sign up. You can ask to speak with either Sheriff Monte Belew or Chief Deputy Damon Lowe.
Belew said, “We feel this class will help you gain confidence with your weapon and you will learn the safest way to shoot and carry your weapon in today’s society.”
He said this class would be a good start for those just learning to shoot and for anyone wanting to get a handgun carry permit. The sheriff’s office also offers the handgun carry permit class and it is taught by Lowe.
