Burglary at Hops & Barley in Union City

A possible burglary took place at Hops and Barley Restaurant on Monday, April 1st according to a report from the Union City Police Department. Police state that Hops and Barley owner, Kimberly Dillon, was called regarding a strange vehicle that was pulling a trailer from behind the restaurant at approximately 5:30am on Monday, April 1st. According to a witness, the vehicle in question is a possible gold, four-door Grand Am that was pulling a trailer with a large object.
Dillon stated that someone entered the east side door and took their safe that had approximately $10,000 in cash and checks from the previous weekend sales as well as the charity 5K Run. In addition, Mrs. Dillon said that the suspects broke into the juke box and stole an undisclosed amount of money as well as an orange trailer.
