Improvements Provide Best Experience Possible At Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park

Eva, Tenn.—Plenty of improvements have come and are coming to the Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park in Eva that will provide more handicapped accessibility and energy efficiency.
Park officials said they have incorporated many universal design features to provide accessibility and usability at all the park’s facilities.
Guests can soon make use of access ramps to buildings, water bottle filling stations, accessible parking and camp sites with improved paths of travel and restrooms that feature LED lighting, automatic hand dryers, occupancy sensors, high quality water-efficient fixtures, waterless urinals and sensor-equipped sinks.
Officials said, “This is a huge step for us toward providing our guests with the best experience possible while achieving an unprecedented level of energy efficiency.”
