Paris, Tenn.–Dr. Danny Kimberlin, Paris obstetrician and surgeon, will be having a book signing, from noon to 3 pm Saturday, May 19th, at Perrylodgic Brewing Company, 3465 Highway 79 North, Paris.
From Sea to Shining See: Postcards from Puka-Puka is the title of his coffee table book that is filled with more than 300 pages of breath taking images of wildlife and landscapes from around the world.
Such an endeavor has been a dream of Dr. Kimberlin’s for more than 50 years. From Sea to Shining See has been 25 years in the making. He and his camera have traveled to all 50 states, each of the seven continents, the four oceans and 97 different countries. He also spent 15 years researching and writing along with 4 years of production.
All proceeds from Dr. Kimberlin’s book will go the the World Wildlife Fund and Nature Conservancy. As a life-long conservationist, Dr. Kimberlin’s goal was to use the power of the lens to promote the natural and cultural wonders of planet Earth, and to teach others to cherish and protect them. He wants to introduce the reader to a vast array of traditions and cultures and to blur the barriers of race and nationality. He longs for our understanding that our differences may define us but do not have to separate us.
