The Henry County and Calloway County sheriff’s offices were involved in a chase that resulted in a stand-off with a suspect who had stolen at least one car and some guns.
The chase began in Calloway County and ended back in Calloway Co. In the interim period, the suspect allegedly stole a car and guns from the Shady Grove Market.
According to scanner traffic, the suspect shot out of his window while being pursued by Henry County deputies.
Deputies utilized spike strips to stop the vehicle and the suspect ended up across the state line back in Calloway County.
According to scanner traffic, a stand-off began when the suspect stationed himself on a porch with his gun at a home across the state line in Calloway Co.
As of 5:30 p.m., deputies from both Henry and Calloway Co. were still at the scene and dispatchers could not comment on the situation.
