Brews, Blues & BBQ Set Saturday

Paris, Tenn.–The music is hot, the food is smoking, and it all benefits the Downtown Paris Association.
It is Brews Blues & BBQ at the Henry County Fairgrounds from 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, November 11th.  The Brews include draft beer and full bar.  The music features the band 24 Seven with Rockin’ Randall French.  The BBQ is provided by Perry’s BBQ to include a roasted, whole hog plus ribs, pork chops, ham, and pulled pork with all the fixings topped off with dessert.
“We are excited to bring an event to include dinner and dancing as a fundraiser for the DPA”, said Kathy Ray, DPA Executive Director. “The idea started a few years ago with Andy Clark and it has grown from there.  We could not have this type of event without the sponsors and support of the DPA members.”
Ray thanked sponsors Blues Landing Restaurant, Clark & Cox, Premier Realty, Total Tech Solutions, FirstBank, BPU, Tosh Farms, Dr. Jeff Morris, The Loft, Joe Mahan Ford, Commercial Bank, Moody Realty, Security Bank, The Travel Agency, The Iron Place, Perry’s BBQ, WENK/WTPR and WMUF/WLZK.”
There are other fun happenings throughout the evening including chances to win a beautiful queen-sized quilt with a Paris design of Eiffel Towers, a 65 quart Yeti cooler from the Iron Place, a vintage Downtown Paris Tennessee Monopoly Game, a Pride of Paris basket from My Favorite Things, a $500 certificate from The Travel Agency, and also a Paris Basket from Lura Lee’s of Paris. There are also fun photo opportunities.
This event is a fundraiser benefiting the Downtown Paris Association.  Tickets are $25 for dinner and music.  Tickets are available at the Downtown Paris Association office located at 203 N. Fentress Street, The Iron Place, Commercial Bank on Mineral Wells, and the Chamber of Commerce.  Contact Kathy Ray, Executive Director, at 731-653-7274, for more information.
