LIFELINE announces winner of Polaris Ranger 500

LIFELINE Blood Services presented Earl Hunt, of South Fulton, with a new Polaris Ranger 500.

Bob Beasley, owner of Bob’s House of Honda, partnered with LIFELINE Blood Services to help make sure blood was available for patients in West Tennessee this summer by donating a Polaris Ranger 500. Thousands of West Tennessee volunteer donors came out to give blood during June and July and registered to win the Polaris Ranger 500.

LIFELINE officials say that summer is one of the toughest times to collect blood. But patients need blood every day, in every season.

“We needed something really special to get folks attention and to encourage them to come on and donate blood,” said Cherie Parker, Public Relations Coordinator for LIFELINE Blood Services. “The chance to win a Polaris Ranger 500 did the trick, “she added.

5,262 donors responded to the call to donate blood during one of the most difficult times to recruit volunteer blood donors.

“Thanks to the generosity of Bob’s House of Honda, blood was available to help save thousands of lives,” said John Miller, CEO of LIFELINE Blood Services. “We appreciate the Beasley Family and their commitment to West Tennessee patients,” Miller added.
