The Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge will be the place to be for a special ticketed dinner hosted by the Friends of Tennessee NWR and featuring speaker Chris Evans, author of the book “South of the Mouth of Sandy”. The evening is called “Untold Stories of the Old 23rd”.
The dinner will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7th at 6:30 pm and will include Old 23rd Salad, Chunky Wild Turkey Stew, Pioneer Cheddar Biscuits, Drinks and Cake.
The program by Chris Evans will follow. Tickets are on sale now at the Blue Heron Bookstore located in the refuge visitor center or online at https://friendstnwr.org/chris-evans-interpretive-event/. Ticket are $30 for Friends Members or $35 for the General Public. Spots are limited (only 18 left as of this posting), so don’t hesitate to claim your spot!
