| Discovery Park will be hosting an inaugural three-day Native American Powwow on October 27 – 29, 2023. The goal of this event is to provide a place for Indigenous people from tribes around the country to celebrate their culture while educating Discovery Park guests on this aspect of our nation’s past, present and future.
The 2023 Northwest Tennessee Native American Educational Powwow will include storytelling, drumming, singing and dancing competitions. There will also be Native American artists selling their indigenous work and food vendors providing opportunities to enjoy Native America cuisines. The Powwow is free with park admission or membership.
