Dover, Tenn.–We hope to see you and your family at the Cross Creeks NWR Hummingbird Banding Event this Saturday, August 26th! Besides getting to watch these jewels of nature up close, you will have the opportunity to Adopt-A-Hummingbird for $10….connecting yourself up with an individual bird! Banding from 8-11:30, with a program on hummingbirds at noon. Hotdog meals will be for sale for $5 beginning at 10:00. We will also have children’s crafts and a nature book store available. Come have a great time while supporting your national wildlife refuge!
