The Henry County Farmers Market is excited to provide three nights with extended hours to allow the public more time to shop. The first night with extended hours is this Friday, June 25, from 2-6 p.m. at the fairgrounds.
Due to another event that will be held in the outdoor pavilion, the Farmers Market will be held inside at the Enoch Building.
The other dates for the extended hours are July 30 and August 13 (which is the Friday of the fair).
Michele Hopkins said, “If these nights go over well then we will have more next year. We’re hoping this will prove that Henry County can sustain a market with later hours. Historically the market shopping crowds end around 4 but we would love to offer the later hours for people who work etc.”
The event in the pavilion is the Kubota Field Event, where there will be equipment demos, free food from 11-1, and giveaways of two Orca coolers and lots of hats and Kubota merchandise. They’ll also have a coupon for up to $250 off equipment for everyone who comes out and registers at the event.
